The Australian Family Association (i.e. National Civic Council) in SA have recently set up a dedicated anti-voluntary euthanasia site called 'To care and not to kill'.

http://www.family.org.au/care/index.html

The site focuses on the virtues of 'palliative care' without mentioning any of its manifold drawbacks.

Thanks again for the link, Brian.  I believe (no pun intended) that this quote from Margaret Somerville is very revealing:

Quote
As to why legalizing euthanasia would be a terrible mistake, ask yourself the questions, “How would I not like my great-great-grandchildren to die?” and “What values do I want to pass on to the world of the future?” For answers, have a look at the 30-year history of legalized euthanasia in the Netherlands.

How presumptuous.

I've never seen an anti-choicer even acknowledge the facts of unrelievable suffering (short of death).  Being sedated into a coma until death is hardly distinguishable (for the patient) from dying quickly and painlessly.  If the patient wakes up, it's a different story.
