Thanks, Jonathan, but do you mind blowing your own trumpet somewhere else? It's getting a bit tiresome after 12 years.

The evil of the creationists? By evil do you mean reminding the world that perhaps there is an alternative to evolution, that there is a God to which we are all accountable? Or the fact that human life is precious and to be protected? If thats evil, its the lesser of the 2 evils, I would rather have that then a world with no moral compass, everyone choosing their own values, and human life treated as a commodity.

Sorry, Faith, but I must follow the example of your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As He fearlessly exposed the machinations of Satan and the Pharisees etc., so I must fearlessly expose the evils of Jonathan Sarfati and the creationists, regardless of the consequences.
I'm sure you understand.

After a study of her websites I found a number of teachings that conflicted with both the Word of God and the teachings of the original Church. One obvious example is a woman usurping the role of pastor over a congreagation which in itself unscriptural. This gathering is a cult, nothing more.

Margaret is exactly right according to the bible, ''John 15:7 if ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask "what ye will", and "it shall be done unto you." these are the words of Jesus. and for sure they don't fail as he spoke them. And its all over through God's word. I can prove it with heaps of scriptures. again Jesus said " Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If "ye have faith", and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; "it shall be done".

Again he said " in Math 17:20-21, Mark 11:23-24, 1John 5:14-15 I can go on and on. Its all over in the bible

The trouble is that many Christians are unbelieving and cannot dare to take the master for his words. perhaps because they cannot believe in their own words and the words of others they think the master as well was not very serious and exact when he said those words.

Young earth creationism may be a serious stumbling block for many well educated people who would like to believe, but are told by people like Answers in Genesis that the world was created in six literal days about 6000 years ago. Of course God could have, but did He? He could have just appeared to Adam each afternoon for six literal days and explaiend the order of cration in six days. The existence of microwave energy in the skies which astonomers say is result of the doppler shift in light travelling from the most distant galaxies for 13.8 billion years. Fossils of ammonites and trilobites buried hundreds of metres under sedimentary rocks often metamorphosed by igneous extrusions date back 140 to 570 million years. The church once dismissed Copernicus and Galileo for scientific theories that conflicted with religious ideologies, and is doing so again. This is not just foolish it is harmful to the credibility of the church and reduces the respect for Christian morals.
