‘Creation’ magazine provides abundant evidence that supports biblical creation.

[I've been reading Creation since its inception and can state, hand on heart, that I have never seen a piece of evidence supporting 'biblical creation' appear in its pages. Bible quotes, yes. Fanciful speculation, most certainly. But not one scintilla of evidence.]

For the most populous and active part of the Christian constituency, the Patterson (therapeutic cloning) Bill is a direct attack on one of the most fundamental beliefs of Christians - the sanctity of human life.

[Jim represents an indeterminate number of conservative Baptists and Pentecostals, hardly 'the most populous and active part of the Christian constituency'. Opinion polls down the years have indicated strong Christian support for liberalised abortion laws and there's little doubt that most Christians back therapeutic cloning too.]

Fred Nile and the Muslims

Catholic sex education vs reality

Michael Gilchrist, editor of the National Civic Council’s AD2000, has this to say about two Catholic sex education booklets written by Carol Phillips, Western Australian coordinator for Babette Francis’s ‘Endeavour Forum’:

These booklets [one for boys and one for girls] make the task [of sex education] much easier, while keeping the sensitive subject within the bounds of a child’s latency period …

‘Latency period’? I’ve been very interested in my sexuality since before I can remember. I was having huge crushes on schoolmates when I was seven and so were half my friends. I thought the very idea of a latency period went out with the ark.

Bill Muehlenberg’s response

Bill Muehlenberg recently offered the following response to the series of blogs concerning his background and activities that have appeared on this site during the past few weeks. This response took the form of a letter to the evangelical fortnightly New Life (2 Nov. 2006, 10):

I have long been aware of the number of people and organisations that really do not like me and what I am doing. But lately I have learned of even more hatred and animosity being directed at me, and all this makes me realise how much more I need your prayer covering. The hatred and vitriol is of course symptomatic of a deeper spiritual war, as Scripture tells us …
